뜰 앞 홍매화
바람에 젖어
흩어진다
긴 기다림 끝에
잠시 머물다 홀연히
떨어지는 것이
서러운게다
인연은 그렇게
오는 듯 가고
사랑도 그렇게
피는 듯 진다

Before the yard, the red plum blossoms
drenched in the wind
scatter away
After a long waiting,
they linger for a moment,
then suddenly fall—
and that is the sorrow
So it is with fate:
it comes as if to stay,
yet slips away
So it is with love:
it seems to bloom,
only to fade
